The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global Tuberculosis was required to hold its AGM and did so to ensure the APPG remains active. As part of this, the APPG re-elected:
- Sojan Joseph MP for Ashford (Labour) as the Group’s Chair and Registered Contact
- Lord Nick Herbert (Conservative) as Co-Chair for the Group
- Baroness Alison Suttie (Liberal Democrat) as Vice-Chair for the Group
Kate Osamor MP for Edmonton and Winchmore Hill (Labour) stepped down from the position of Vice-Chair. The APPG would like to thank her for her advocacy on Tuberculosis in the past year and wish her all the best. Taking on this role is James Asser MP for West Ham and Beckton (Labour), who was elected at the AGM on 10th June 2026. We’d like to welcome him and are so pleased to be able to work alongside him and his office.
